The Czech ICT Alliance has a long history; it was founded back in 2005 and has been actively promoting the Czech ICT sector abroad ever since. By joining the alliance, AITOM has joined the ranks of major IT players such as Asseco Solutions, Cleverbee, Cleverlance Enterprise Solutions, ICZ, IT Systems, Komix, ON Semiconductor Czech Republic and Sophia Solutions. The alliance’s members also include Czech branches of multinational companies such as Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Microsoft and Software AG.
The aim of the Czech ICT Alliance is to raise the profile of the high-quality IT environment beyond the borders of the Czech Republic. It seeks to gather information and secure grants to support and train people in the ICT sector. A unique project of the Czech ICT Alliance is the Czech ICT Incubator programme, which supports Czech start-ups so that they can succeed in Silicon Valley. The winner of the programme will secure a place in the Runway incubator in Silicon Valley.
