The Ministry of Industry and Trade has launched a call for proposals to support marketing and specialist services for start-ups, offering up to CZK 2.45 million per project with the aim of helping young companies to grow and expand.

What is it about?

  • A call for proposals under the Operational Programme Technology and Applications for Competitiveness (OP TAK).

  • Intended for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – service providers.

  • The aim is to support start-ups with venture capital in the form of external specialist services.

  • Supported services: marketing, PR, strategic management, business development, mentoring, participation in international accelerators.

  • Grant amount: up to 50% of eligible costs, max. CZK 2.45 million per project.

  • Total allocation for the call: CZK 150 million.

How long will it take?

Application period: from 9 April to 30 September 2025.

What are the conditions?

  • A legal entity with a Czech company registration number (small or medium-sized enterprise – SME).

  • The company must not be older than 7 years (calculated from the date of allocation of the IČO).

  • The start-up must secure venture capital of at least CZK 2 million (e.g. equity deal, convertible loan, SAFE).

  • The investor must not hold more than a 50% stake in the company (minority shareholder).

  • It must have been registered as an income tax payer in the Czech Republic for at least one tax period.

  • It must have its beneficial owners registered and must not be in liquidation or bankruptcy.

Amount of support:

  • A grant amounting to 50% of eligible expenditure.

  • Minimum project expenditure: CZK 500,000

  • Maximum project expenditure: CZK 4,900,000 (including indirect costs).

  • Maximum grant: CZK 2,450,000.

Supported activities:

  • External advisory and consultancy services (e.g. marketing, sales, strategy, finance, mentoring).

  • Participation in international accelerators (max. 6 months, max. CZK 2 million excluding VAT).

  • Intellectual property protection (e.g. trademark registration).

  • Software development and technology services.

  • Indirect costs are eligible up to 7% of direct expenditure.
