Czechs most often:
- Search for information (67%)
- Send emails (57%)
- Check social media (53%)
- Read the news (40%)
It remains true that the older the respondents, the less they search. Young people under 29 search in 75% of cases, whilst those aged between 45 and 59 search in only 57% of cases. Online shopping is also booming. 27% of Czechs shop online several times a week.
What interesting findings did we uncover?
- Men read online news much more frequently (11% more often than women)
- Women are practically not interested in their connection speed at all; most do not even know what their speed is
- The higher a user’s level of education, the more they use email – which is linked to their job
- Women spend more time on social media (by almost 20%)

The STEM/MARK agency conducted the survey on our behalf.
