AITOM attended this year’s Google Agency Day in Prague, and we’d like to share with you a few figures and tips we picked up there.

The Google Partners programme has welcomed 216 new members, bringing the total number of members

to 479, including AITOM

. There are now 42 more certified partners, bringing Google’s total number of certified partners in 2015 to 137. Furthermore, two new key partners have joined, who were officially announced and have joined the current group of ten key Google partners. How many will there be next year? We’ll have to wait and see.

What new developments does Google have in store?

As well as a few figures reflecting the past year, Google also revealed some news and plans for the coming year. Juraj Felix and Pavla Grigarová then gave us a few tips on why and how to acquire new customers:

  • Choose an industry.
  • Do your homework.
  • Demonstrate relevance and experience.
  • Back it up with data and speak the client’s language.
  • But above all – the rule of the second day.

So, just to be sure, we were given a feedback questionnaire immediately after the presentation as we left the hall.

The whole event took place at La Fabrika

, and we have to admit that these venues were a brilliant choice. The supporting programme, from which we took home henna-painted designs on our skin, was the icing on the cake of the whole rock atmosphere that the event was imbued with.

The conclusion of the presentation was spiced up by Vanda Wolfová, Head of Agency, with her inflatable guitar and rocker-style dark glasses, who said: “Next year we’re expecting 100% growth and we won’t settle for anything less.”

So we at AITOM are also planning to grow and achieve further certifications.
